Ok, we all have and love our punches! I thought that I would share some information on how to keep them sharp. When you get a bit of furry edge on you punched shapes there are a few things that you can try to clean the edge up. Get some aluminium foil and punch a few times. If this doesn’t work, try the heaver weight foil that you get in the throw away bbq trays. This should be all that is needed to bring the edge back to life!
New punches – please make sure that you use fairly quickly to make sure that they work well. Check how they are punching through paper and cardstock and also that the little plastic locking mechanism on the bottom of the punch is working well. If there are any issues, please let me know straight away so that I can contact Stampin’ Up! and get the issue sorted.
All about colour
I though with each update I would include two colour combinations that have one colour in common. This week will be Bermuda Bay.
Combination 1: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry
Combination 2: Bermuda bay, Tangerine Tango and Smoky Slate
Dynamic Duo – these are two colours that match perfectly together, a light and dark shade: Bermuda Bay and Pool Party
Scoot over to my blog and check out a project or two using these colour combinations. http://stampinwithjacinta.blogspot.com
The stamp-a-stack: Dragonfly Dreams is on Saturday, 25th March
The Retreat is on the 28th to 30th April – just out at Glengarry so not too far to travel!
