May Newsletter

Hi Ladies,

I need to start by apologizing for not sending out any newsletters for a few months. Between being busy with clubs, workshops and getting the last bits and pieces done before going away to the USA and Mexico for a few weeks the newsletter was put on the back burner. Hopefully things will be back to normal at least for a little while anyway.

I wanted to let you all know that I achieved the Grand Vacation with SU! this year. The trip is to Utah in July….cannot wait; it is going to be so much fun. Thank you so much to my wonderful downline and ever so supportive customers for helping me to achieve this wonderful trip.

Ok, there is a lot happening with SU! At the moment from MDS and online ordering to hostess specials and colour refresh. So please take a look at the information below and the attached flyers.  

Online Ordering

Online ordering is finally available. This can be done through my web site

Ordering online is a convenient way to place your orders when it suits you, any time day or night. If you place an order that qualifies for hostess benefits you will still receive the standard hostess dollars and any half price items that you may be entitled to. To order online you will be required to pay for the order by credit card.

Stampin’ Up! May Promotion

The promotion for May is for all hostesses. Once your workshop sales have reached $400.00 or more you will receive an extra $60.00 in hostess benefits. This promotion applied to both workshops and catalogue workshops. The promotion ends on May 30th. If you would like to book a workshop please contact me to schedule a date.


Why Book a workshop/party?

Well first it is so much fun. Everyone will get to see the products being used and all guests will leave having made their own project. So not oly do you see the products being used you also get to try them out for yourselves.

Secondly, hosting a worshop or party is the quickest and easiest way to earn yourself free products and half price products. For example if your total sales from your workshop was $324.00 you will then receive $50.00 in Hostess Dollars to spend on any current products. If your sales were $652.00 you would receive $100.00 Hostess Dollars, the extra $60.00 hostess benefits promotion and one item at half price. For your half price item you could get the big shot for $75.00! I have included a copy of the hostess benefits table below.

Also you get to share your love of papercraft with family and friends.

Colour Refresh

Stampin Up! Are making a few changes to their colour collections. We will be saying good bye to some long time favorites, welcoming back some retired colours and saying hello to a few new ones to. Please refer to the attached flyer for the details.

Class – Stamp-a-stack: cards for babies

Date:  Saturday, 11th May

Time:  1pm

Fee:  $30.00

You will make six cards that are suitable for babies. The cards will include a variety of techniques as well as using a selection of embellishments including buttons, fibers and brads. The Baby Tees, baby Prints and Two by Two stamp sets will be used.

There are still places available for this class, please register by 8th May.

Please bring all adhesives, scissors, bone folder, paper trimmer, aqua painter or blender pen to the class.


Please call or email me to register for this class. A $10.00 non-refundable deposit is required for this class.

Quick Class – Mother’s Day

Date:  Thursday, 9th May

Time:  7pm

Fee:  $10.00

You will complete two projects for Mother’s Day, one card and one gift item. This class will take about one and a half hours. These projects will be suitable to give to any woman.

Card Kits for Sale

There are over 40 kits different kits to choose from. Please go to my blog and click on the “Card kits or sale” page. The cost is $5.00 per kit for pick up and $6.00 per kit which includes postage.
