July Stamp Club and Cardstock & Ribbon Club Projects

This is my scrapbook page for June - only need to do one for this month and I will be up to date with my scrapbook challenge.
I found this phot of Nathan in the drawer and knew that it needed to be put on a scrapbook page.

Gift box

I made this gift box in a class last night. It would be a great make and take project leading into Christmas.

Here's something for you to try

This card is using the Felted Cardstock technique and making flowers using the butterfly and 2 step bird punch.
Cardstock: Real red cardstock 13.5cm x 27cm and 8cm x 9cm
Whisper white cardstock 13cm x 13cm, 8.5 x 9.5 cm, 7cm x 8cm and small off cut to punch two butterflies
So saffron 7.5cm x 8.5cm
Old olive small off cuts to punch out the leaves
Punches: butterfly and two step bird punch
Inks: Real red ink pad, so saffron and perfect plum marker or ink refill and black marker
Stamp set: Bring on the cake
Adhesives: snail, glue stick and dimensionals.
Other: gold brad, serviette, cling wrap, iron, ironing board, water spritzer, small hole punch or piercing tool.


Cut the serviette into quarters.

Seperate each layer of the serviette - you will only need the top layer for the felted cardstock technique.

Use the iron on the highest dry setting and iron over the sandwich for a minute or so. Peel the cardstock off the scrap paper and trim the serviette to size. This can be adhered to the real red card.

Making the flower.
Punch two butterflies out of whisper white cardstock.
Working with one butterfly at a time spritz with water. Using an aqua painter apply the so saffron ink to the butterfly.
Apply the perfect plum ink and allow to dry.
Using the black stampin' write marker apply detail to the centre of the butterfly.
Punch a small hole in the middle of each butterfly and set the brad. Slightly curl the edges of the petals up.
Punch out three leaves and attach them to the back of the flower.
Stamp the sentiment using real red ink.
Use both snail adhesive and dimensionals to completed the card.

Christmas in July Event

The Christmas in July event gave all the ladies a head start on their Christmas projects. It was great to listen to all the conversations about what they planned to do for their Christmas cards and gifts this year. The day was a huge success and enjoyed by all. Thank you so much to the ladies who attended the day.
